About the course:
This course gives participants an overview of uses of Perforation, types of perforating equipment and factors affecting performance. This module will help reservoir engineers to select the correct perforating interval depending on the data from the logs (resistivity, sonic, density logs) to perforate in the most porous & permeable hydrocarbon intervals. This course starts with a brief review of the introduction, place of perforation, equipment used and its types and the factors influencing the performance.
Audience:
Operator engineers and service company technical sales engineers.
You will learn almost all aspects of perforating including types of charges, types of guns, phasing, shot density, penetration, hole size, gun initiation on wireline, TCP, slickline, perforating safety, API in perforating, perforating systems and techniques for different completions and conditions
