About the course:

A first aid training course prepares you to deal with a range of medical emergencies, from common injuries such as cuts, scrapes, and burns to major injuries such as trauma to the head and cardiac arrest.

Objectives:

The aim of the First Aid training course is to provide attendees with practical first aid skills to treat bleeding, fractures, burns & injuries. On completion of this course participants will be able to provide necessary first aid within the workplace and to understand and demonstrate essential lifesaving skills.

Taking a formal CPR class will help you become familiar with chest compressions, rescue breathing, and AED use.

In this course you’ll Learn when and how to perform CPR and utilize special first aid techniques. It’s important to know how to act in an emergency, and to act fast. How to get help. Know the signs.

Course Learning Outcomes:

• Recognize an emergency situation.
• Identify, assess and minimize immediate hazards to self and others.
• Assess the casualty and recognize the need for CPR.
• Seek assistance from emergency services.
• Perform CPR in accordance with ARC Guidelines.
• Display respectful behavior towards casualty.
